Neighborhood Acronyms Revised

I created a NOHO revised sign & decided to use the old rock club, CBGB as a reference, which has been replaced by Varvatos boutique. Extra Place, a tiny street that runs north from First Street, between Bowery & Second Avenue, was one of the last remnants of the block's pregentrified past. In the pre-gentrified era, CBGBs backstage door led out to the small street. Avalon Bay, developer of luxury condos has repaved Extra and now hosts shops & boutiques there. I put up the sign early this morning-don't know how long it will be before it appears on some security screen...
